I see therapy as an endeavor of healing, change, and growth aimed at enhancing wisdom and meaning in life.
In many ways, I view the therapeutic process as an effort to restore meaning and develop wisdom. From that lens, much of what is commonly called psychological “disorders” can also be understood as struggles connected to wisdom, meaning, and how to live.

ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
One of the biggest predictors of success in therapy is the fit between client and therapist. Because of that, choosing a therapist is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, and I don’t take that lightly.
I’m a great fit for certain people and not the best fit for others, and that’s okay. I can’t be everything to every client, and it wouldn’t serve either of us to pretend otherwise. Sometimes I’ll know right away if it seems like a good fit. Sometimes you’ll know right away. Other times, it takes a little time to settle in, get to know each other, and develop a rhythm that works.
Whatever you choose, I honor your choice and I genuinely wish you the best in your journey.
