Gabe Clark- Mental Health Therapist

Gabe Clark, CMHC

Cultivating wisdom. Living with meaning.

I help adults who sense that something in their life isn’t working, but can’t quite name what it is, develop the wisdom and capacity needed to live with greater meaning. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, skeptical, or unsure whether it will offer anything beyond coping tools or diagnoses. My role is not to fix or pathologize, but to serve as a grounded guide who offers a safe, honest, and occasionally irreverent space for dialogue that clarifies what truly matters.

Through relationship, inquiry, and challenge, I support clients in orienting themselves more wisely toward their lives, their relationships, and the choices before them, so they can move forward with greater depth, perspective, and integrity.

A Different Kind of Therapy

Questions Welcome

Part of the magic of therapy lies in the relationship, the collaboration, the connection, and the dialogue. The human mind works best in dialogue with others. The right kind of dialogue opens up possibilities, expands options, and affords insight and even healing. Therapy can be a sacred space for the depth involved in that kind of dialogue.

I work with people who want from therapy and life something more, or at least something different, than managing symptoms or treating disorders. The beating heart of therapy is wisdom–growing and developing the capacity to direct our attention, to be in right relationship with ourselves, others and the world, to recognize what really matters, to orient ourselves properly to those things, and to make our way through the challenges of life in a way that realizes the best in ourselves and in life.

If you’re here, your life is likely calling to you that change is needed. Sometimes that message comes in the form of pain, suffering, or distress. If you’re here, you’re responding to that call. Therapy can play a meaningful role in the change you’re after. If this is what you've been looking for in therapy, let's connect and see if we might be a good fit for working together.
